이상과의 대화’는 근대 시인 이상이 살았던 집터이자 이상의 기념관이 지어질 가옥에서 발생되어 발전되는 프로젝트이다. 이 프로젝트는 다양한 프로그램과 이벤트를 통해서 이미 확립된 유형의 유산과 기억, 기념비의 아이디어와 기념비적인 것에 관계하면서 질문을 하고자 한다. 이상의 집이라는 특정 공간과 시간에 개입하는 이 프로젝트는 이상의 문학적 돌파구와 실험, 역사적, 사회적, 정치적 맥락에서 그가 살았던 시간과 현재가 같은 선상에 위치하고 있으며, 여전히 진행 중이라고 보는 시점에서 출발하여 다의적인 대화 만들기를 시도한다.
